Kate from four23 got in touch to tell me about a new project they have just finished. They have created a visual identity for a new digital media production complex in Manchester, called The Sharp Project. What they have created is no ordinary logo – it’s a piece of generative art that changes with the data flow in and out of the building, one that will never appear the same twice. What grabs me about this logo is that it’s not only a forward thinking piece of brand communication, it subtly nods its head to Manchester past, drawing on an almost Factory records style aesthetic.

They also sent me a very nice promotional mail out poster a while back (bottom pic) that I’ve been waiting for the right time to post about, so no time like the present. Top work!
Edit: Picked up Creative Reviews annual today and I was very pleased to find the Sharpe project in there.
