This February, The Public welcomed artists Hsiao-chi Tsai from Taiwan and Kimiya Yoshikawa from Japan to create a visually stunning series of plant-like works within the gallery space. The multimedia and interactive experience involving collaborations with UK sound and interactive artists, is on display until 6 May 2013.

Having first been displayed at PM Gallery & House, London in 2012, Tsai and Yoshikawa’s intricate and colourful sculptures and art installation now takes residence at the West Midlands venue. The Public commissioned interactive artist Matt Venn and sound artist, Circumstance, to work alongside Tsai and Yoshikawa in a unique collaborative project; bringing together artists who wouldn’t ordinarily have had the chance to work together.
