Wow! That’s all I have to say about this new public art piece unveiled in Blackpool today. Artist Gordon Young collaborated with designer Andy Altmann of the infamous why not associates to produce this typographic masterpiece laid out in granite. Via DesignBoom

Torotoro branding
Loving the branding work for Torotoro, a Japanese restaurant designed by design agency Savvy. Whilst analyzing the Japanese restaurant market in the area, Savvy realized that the vast majority of restaurants brand themselves through oriental clichés, often mixing Asian cultures without realizing it.
